I melted one bit still bought 3 more

These can't be beat for rehydrating meals in pouches or in a pot (up to 1 L). Way better than the home made version and 1/3 the price of the Hyperlite version. Note: I notmelted one grabbing a titanium pot out of the fire. User error so i still bought a replacement and a couple more for my kids.

    Big Sky Rocks!

I love using my Big Sky insulated food pouch. It works great for our backpacking dinners for my family or Scout troop. They are well made and are reasonable priced. Thank you for an amazing product.

    High Quality & Lightweight

I recently received the bags (ordered both sizes) and haven't used them, yet, but I'm looking forward to it. They're practically weightless and the foldable design makes them easy to pack. I can't speak to heat retention, yet, but am please with the bag so far!

    Great value

Better and more durable than the homemade cozies and way cheaper than the Hyperlight version. It's big enough to fit any brand of meal pouches or a 1L pot. No need to transfer to a ziplock. Saves fuel too. You can use hot, but less than boiling, water, by letting it sit longer in the insulated pouch.

I love my insulite bag. It allows me to eat healthier by easily rehydrating more vegetables. It’s going to care of me PCT 22. It’s so light however, that the wind caught it and blew it into my stove. Repairable.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    Ask a Question
    • Where is this made?

Big Sky's insulated pouches are responsibly made in China

    • Please explain what "no retail packaging" means.........1 piece, "bulk pack".......I assume this means purchasing one bag from a bulk pack and therefore it arrives without the cardboard Big Sky wrapping?

"bulk pack" means no retail box

    • Can I take my pot off the flame and put it in this pouch to let the food continue cooking?

This will probably melt the Insulite pouch fabric..
